After essentially a solid weekend trying to get Ruby on Rails to work on Windows so I can actually learn it, finally I gave up trying and have loaded it all up on Ubuntu instead.
Guess what? It actually works now.
Hurray!
It’s kinda absorbed any and all free time for the past 2-3 days, though, so I’m a bit behind with… well, everything else now. Might as well continue working through the first examples in the Dummies book for tonight – but tomorrow it’ll have to be time to dig into research mode instead.
